As a Barclays Private Bank Business Planning and Reporting Manager, you will primarily focus on supporting the delivery of the Reporting and Analytics agenda for Private Bank (PB), supporting both internal and external reporting. This encompasses providing value add services to key stakeholders, ensuring accurate insightful reporting which enables an understanding of emerging performance trends, risks and opportunities. You will drive improvements and develop stakeholder relationships across areas.

What will you be doing?
• Supporting and delivering insightful Financial and Business MI, as well as reporting initiatives that will benefit the business and function
• Managing the External Outlook process and end to end deliverables including updates to senior stakeholders both within PB and BI/Group
• Analysing and interpreting performance trends and support identification of emerging risks and opportunities, helping to provide the link between reporting and planning teams
• Analysing performance against internal targets, ensuring understanding and communication of underlying performance drivers across various performance measures leading to RoTE
• Driving improvement in team processes e.g. automation of manual processes/ consolidation etc. Leveraging stakeholder feedback on business requirements
• Oversee the weekly reporting process and performing ad-hoc analysis required for various forums and leadership meetings within PB/CCP
• Supporting quantification and modelling of business financials and be able to co-ordinate these exercises across teams, as well supporting on Finance change products
• Undertaking elements of strategic management activity, including identifying and analysing key drivers of value creation and able to manage deliverables in short timeframes

What we're looking for:
• Experience of Financial Reporting processes and deliverables
• A proven track record of effective stakeholder management
• Ability to improve and enhance existing processes within teams
• Excellent business judgement and a willingness to drive the right behaviours

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Strong presentation and numerical skills
• Qualified accountant (preferred)
• Skilled in MS Office applications and exposure to Optimus and Hyperion Planning
