This Up-and-coming Cosmetics organisations with a range of innovative brands across skincare & perfume are looking to grow a greenfield procurement team, as they enter the next phase of their growth.

Having appointed a Director of Supply Chain, they're now seeking an innovative procurement manager to develop and establish purchasing process & policy. This role will cover broad responsibilities across purchasing, logistics & supply chain as the function looks to effectively imbed itself within a young, growing business.

As a Procurement Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Developing a purchasing strategy by rationalising the existing vendor customer base, selecting new supplies & ensuring stock optimisation
• Provide guidance on sourcing & procurement process, working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder groups
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process ensuring the organisation has reliable and engaged suppliers, ensuring contract terms & conditions are enforced
• Effectively manage contracts negotiations ensuring that vendor terms are advantageous and meet the business long term needs
• Build and maintain long-standing relationships with internal & external stakeholder groups
• Work closely with the Supply Chain Director to provide effective insight into market trends and opportunities to improve the supply chain function

Required skills:

• Strong experience across the end-to-end procurement process, with excellent supplier relationship management skills
• Strong experience within contracts management
• Proficiency within excel required
• Experience within a relevant industry/sector such as cosmetics or consumer goods
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools such as SAP Knowledge is ideal but not required
• French or Italian language skills are a plus but not required
