Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 (10% bonus) Location: London - Flexible working

The organisation
This will be working for a FTSE250 recruitment business that is looking to bolster its global product team with a new product manager joining. An aspiring individual from a product and solutions and engineering background will be supported and with room to grow into the role by a successful and supportive team.

The role
This will be working in their Digital Innovation Services team where they talk to customers to understand the pain points, using mock-ups and use cases to describe how the problem can be solved. Their customers range from Front Office business and users of the website, so a broad range of products will be analysed. A product manager will be surrounded by a team of product managers and will be updating and reporting to stakeholders across the business. The role involves developing ties with global business stakeholders and the technical team to identify where improvements can be made to applications, both internal systems and websites. Working as an evangelist for the products we are building, the successful applicant will help drive delivery of excellent results, and will be passionate about detail, building capabilities, and communicating ideas and features.

Responsible for:
This role will be working with product analysts in their work, protypes used by technical teams to understand what to build. This will also be carrying out user research sessions to validate that products are providing the features that are needed.
Manages a product or a suit of related products from conception to launch, including all product feature grooming, conceptualising, and documenting product features. Articulates and documents product features, product solutions and product implementation roadmap using product management techniques and tools by being an integral part of the Engineering team and engaging with Business teams.

Duties:

• Identifying opportunities and defining product visions and strategies.
• Working with users to understand customer needs and gathering product requirements.
• Enhancing existing products.
• Providing support to other members of the team to ensure they can deliver successful products.

• Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements across diverse functional areas and convert them into a compelling product vision.

• Ability to handle multiple product cycles at the same time.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
