It is embedded within the global marketing, product and distribution function.Overview of the roleThis role is responsible for many support functions across global product marketing and presentations. A core function of the role is the development and packaging of events presentations to create an industry-leading client experience. The role will partner closely with regional events teams to support their calendar, while creating effective and engaging presentations for webinars, webcasts and in-person meetings. This role will also support the broader product marketing team to expand the availability of custom collateral to aid the sales process for priority investment strategies and products. This will include creating and versioning product marketing materials (brochures, profiles, flyers) across regions and products. Working in a highly collaborative fashion, you will interact closely with Product Marketers, Product Specialists, Content, Channel Marketing, Investments and Distribution personnel. The role will support various global institutional and intermediary businesses.Duties and responsibilitiesYou will:Serve as the primary contact for regional events teams to support presentations development and screen-size versioning including webcast, webinars, online meetings, and live eventsCollaborate with senior level business partners to understand needs and objectives of greater "storytelling initiative" into presentationsConvert presentations between various sizes and formats to meet business needsCollaborate and consult with marketing and investments to advise and translate research into content and layout designAct as a brand champion; contribute to deepening the brand ethos in marketing presentations in a creative/innovative wayFacilitate the versioning of product marketing materials across regions, languages and product extensionsSupport the management of the product marketing team's print material development pipeline and quarterly projects and materials developmentCompetitor analysis; to stay on the cutting edge of storytelling, pitch presentations, data visualizationAct as a project manager to facilitate a production process across internal business partner groups including investments, product, compliance and creative servicesInteract effectively with all internal business partners, including but not limited to Compliance, Graphics, Fulfillment, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing and ManagementCarry out additional duties as assigned.Supervisory responsibilitiesNoneTechnical skills and qualificationsMarketing experience within the financial services industry requiredStrong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including charting of financials, requiredBackground in layout and graphic design a major plusInvestment product knowledge and story building expertise requiredInstitutional or intermediary distribution experience preferredMultiple vehicle (Separate/Segregated Account, Mutual Fund, UCIT, OEIC, SICAV, VIT, ETF, etc.) marketing experience a major plusThorough understanding of industry compliance requirements across global regulators preferredCompetencies requiredIn addition to putting clients first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include:Takes full ownership of all projects from inception through completion ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely deliveryStrong project management capabilityExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to work across all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailStrong writing and communication skillsExperience with proofreading, fact checking and an editorial eyeOngoing competence in the role to be assessed, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, by:Annual performance appraisalCompletion of all assigned compliance trainingCompliance requirementsAt a minimum the role will require you to:Place the interest of Janus Henderson's Clients first, act in accordance with TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principlesUnderstand and follow laws and regulations applicable for your role, seeking the help of your supervising manager or Compliance if additional guidance is requiredUnderstand and abide by all Janus Henderson policies applicable to your role, and seek support/guidance of the policy owner guidance when requiredYou are ultimately accountable for your actions and responsible for seeking further information on any or all of the above as necessary.Janus Henderson (including its subsidiaries) will not maintain existing or sponsor new industry registrations or licenses where not supported by an employee's job functions (as determined by Janus Henderson at its sole discretion).All applicants must be willing to comply with the provisions of Janus Henderson Investment Advisory Code of Ethics related to personal securities activities and other disclosure and certification requirements, including past political contributions and political activities.
