Energy Saving Trust is a leading and trusted organisation, dedicated to promoting energy efficiency, low carbon transport and sustainable energy use. We aim to address the climate emergency and deliver the wider benefits of clean energy as we transition to net zero.
The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised individual with a pro-active mindset to support with our International programmes. The role will primarily work on our Efficiency for Access Research and Development (R&D) Fund which sits within our multimillion-pound Low Energy Inclusive Appliances (LEIA) programme and along with providing wider project support across the team.
The role will provide you with an inspiring opportunity to grow your experience and develop your knowledge in the Energy Access sector, specifically in low-income countries. You will work with a range of internationally located grantees, providing management support in their development and testing of new technological and business model innovations in the off-grid appliances sector.
What you'll do
- Support with grantee management to ensure projects deliver high quality outcomes and are on track for full delivery and spend.
- Support with the wider management of project forecasts and budgets to ensure financial reporting is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the Communications teams to prepare communication outputs from the project.
What you'll bring:
• A keen eye for detail and ability to proactivity solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience of delivering results to deadlines and working under pressure or in a fast-paced environment
This is a permanent position. We are open to flexible working patterns and blended (home and office-based) working is possible for this role.
