Project Manager (ECN)
Location - London
Daily rate - £700/day PAYE £898/day Umbrella
Start date - ASAP
Contract - 6 Months

Our financial services client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team as part of natural growth within the department. This position sits within the Wholesale and MSS Conduct Programme and is in place to support customers with Enhanced Care Needs (ECN) under the direction of Regulators. This role would be a good fit for someone who has experience Compliance and Risk experience within the Financial Services Sector. Additionally, if you have any experience working in Commercial Banking and proven Project Management experience, this role would be ideal. The client is looking for someone who has end to end Project Delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the ECN project and component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
Maintain effective project controls and procedures
Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to working groups and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
Drive delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
Oversee and provide direction to BA's
Influencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
Driving project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risks
Establishing effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processes
Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

An understanding of the regulatory landscape in a commercial banking environment (desirable)
Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
Ability to facilitate decision making process and to drive implementation
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
In-depth understanding of project management best practices and methodologies
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analysis skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities whilst maintaining the delivery focus
Ability to work with little supervision, proactive, with drive and energy
Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)
Flexible and adaptable approach
Ability to understand the detail but also able to take a big picture approach
Experience of leading change initiatives in large organisations
Delivery focused, and able to meet and manage deadlines
