We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join the award-winning Warm Homes Team to deliver a high-profile programme of multiple local activities, aimed at reducing fuel poverty and cold-related ill-health among the most vulnerable older people.
Main Responsibilities:
* Management of specific projects and workstreams, as agreed with the Programme Manager.
* Develop and manage project plans, using appropriate tools to track progress.
* Ensure project objectives and outcomes are met.
* Manage project risk and escalate as appropriate.
* Ensure compliance with all funding and partnership contracts and agreements.
* Responsible for budget of up to £1.6m.
* Ensure robust project monitoring frameworks are in place and implemented.
* Provide management information and regular reporting in accordance with requirements.
* Act as spokesperson for projects as appropriate.
* Work with the Programme Manager and Head of Wellbeing to contribute to the development of the strategic goals and objectives, and new funding proposals.
You will have:
* A track record of successful project management within a fast paced, complex organisation.
* Project design and delivery.
* Excellent Excel skills to compile and analyse complex monitoring information/ large volumes of data.
* Managing successful relationships with local stakeholders.
* Budget and contract management.
* Risk management.
* Experience of working with a range of funding bodies and adhering to reporting requirements.
* Experience of working collaboratively in a fast paced, complex environment, building networks with a diverse range of people and project managing cross-divisional work.
* Experience of line management
* Knowledge of interventions for older people to support them to keep warm and well in winter, and to reduce fuel poverty is desirable.
Please note line management experience is essential for this role
