This is a fantastic Psychology Teaching Assistantopportunity for an individual looking to gain practical and clinical experience in the field of education and mental health.

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistantrequirements

Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with additional needs
A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.

Ability to build rapport with children
What you can expect as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Your role as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistantwill be to support a child with special educational needs however the role will vary from day to day, you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path
Continued Professional Development - SEND schools and APs are continually training their staff to help them support their children's needs, you will become an expert in your field of SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
You will have an opportunity to make a huge social impact, as a specialist SEMH Teaching Assistant you could change the course of a young persons life!

Pay

We understand that pay is extremely important andit must be clear and simple!

For that reason we have chosen to pay our staff via PAYE only.

Quoted ratesare gross pay and your pay will neverinvolve employer's NI deductions or admin fees.

Just as roles vary, so will the remuneration depending on the role requirements and your experience.

You will often see these roles advertised as daily rates, please note that we pay PAYE only and rates will vary from 65- 90per day, depending on the role and your experience.Full Time Equivalent salaries are therefore 16,640 - 23,040 Per Annum, please bear in mind that all school based work will be term time only.
