Salary: £40,000-£45,000 P/y DOE

Roc Search have partnered with a globally established Software company who work on solutions for 40% of the top 100 retail companies. The purpose of their products is to Detect and Alleviate Fraud, improve customer experience and improve operational processes. The main team are working on an Analytics tool to prevent fraud.

They are seeking a hands on and enthusiastic QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of their service, application features, issue remediation, deployment and site reliability. The candidate is an enthusiastic and reliable professional. This role will report to the QA Lead Engineering Manager based in London with a heavy amount of remote work available.

The QA Engineer will pay £35-£45k DOE. The main responsibilities are below;

Responsibilities

Ensure quality of continuous releases and manage and execute deployment pipelines into Production and lower environments.

Ensure work items have a defined scope and acceptance criteria.

Produce, schedule and maintain automated tests for our web application.

Accountable for quality code, unit tests, high quality English technical documentation and installers

Ensure quality of function and performance.

Monitor, track and improve application performance and reliability.

Raising, checking and managing work item life cycle

Liaise with DevOps (Development, Delivery, Support) and users to ensure issues are communicated and resolved efficiently.

Requirements

Confident & clear communicator, written & verbal. First class interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Desire to find the root cause of issues.

Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.

Interest and experience in technology with hands on technical skills

Ambition to learn and progress.

Passion to produce quality through their work.

Technology

Web based product written in ASP.NET c#, angular js.

Over a thousand selenium web driver tests in C#.

Over three thousand unit tests in C#.

Containerised Windows Back End with IIS, Windows Server and SQL Server
