Job description

*Quality Assurance Head for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Leading QA activities for a team of nearly 100 people for one of the largest sites in the UK. (Looking for candidates who can relocate)*
I've been mandated to help one of the countries largest pharmaceutical sites to bring in a QA Head who will be leading significant changes within QA over the next few years. It's a big role leading a sizeable team and there is a lot of new investment and challenges involved which ultimately can become a career defining move for the right person. In addition to this, the site has always had a friendly feel and there are key benefits in terms of improve quality of lifestyle that you can see with a role in the North East.
We are looking for someone who has experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing leading teams who is looking for that next step. It could be either someone heading QA in a relatively small site or someone currently 2nd in command at a larger site. If you are experienced in QA for a CdMO or pharma manufacturing and could be interested, then please feel free to reach out to me.
*Key Responsibilities:*

* Responsible for a large QA team with senior QA managers reporting in
* Working closely with teams to help motivate and drive through critical QA changes and processes
* High strategic input on improving optimisation and delivering on key time lines and within budget
* Part of the site senior management team
*Key Requirements:*

* Significant pharmaceutical experience in QA for small molecule manufacturing under GMP.
* Proven leadership experience
* Demonstrated ability to drive through and accomplish changes and projects
* Fluent in English
* Be a UK/EU/Swiss passport holder
*Location:*

* We will need this candidate on site in the North East (Much cheaper cost of living, people are very friendly and there is a very high quality of life in many towns in the area) of England. While homeworking can work in some cases, with so many changes planned and where dealing with people on a personal level is crucial. It is not something that can be flexible as things stand.
