Job Description
Regulatory Reporting Analyst

  • Accurately prepare and submit on a timely basis all regulatory reporting to Bank of England, FCA & PRA using RegData, BEEDS and OSCA
  • Produce & maintain appropriate interpretations, policies & procedures for all regulatory returns
  • Support current regulatory reporting automation process through to completion, and maintain the automation process to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Conduct periodic reviews of in-scope regulatory returns
  • Preparation of monthly ALCO pack
  • Assist with preparation of ILAAP & ICAAP
  • Assist the HoF in budget preparation, specifically in regards to key regulatory requirement scenario testing
  • Support financial forecasting and modelling for stress testing, capital and liquidity planning
  • Assist with preparation of the annual statutory accounts and pillar 3 reporting
  • Produce and submit relevant management information to senior management & the Board
  • Reconcile and maintain control of all risk participation sales / purchases, as well as CRM and ensure correct regulatory reporting. Support external and internal audit process
  • Produce MI for Daily Treasury Reporting; including LCR, NSFR, Liquidity Buffer, Mismatch Gaps, and balance sheet analysis
  • Any other work allocated by the HoF

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory returns including COREP, FINREP, PRA 110
  • Understanding of bank accountancy and finance (IFRS,UK GAAP)
  • Familiarity with current banking rules, regulations and requirements (ILAAP, ICAAP)
  • Articulate and confident, able to communicate at all levels
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good systems and IT skills (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience and knowledge of RegData
