Operating in both the UK and US we are committed to working with organisations to provide definitive evidence on their impact on society.

Our clients work with some of the most vulnerable people in society, including at risk young people, refugees and the homeless.

We now have an opening for a Research Manager to manage a robust programme of research, evaluation, and analysis into how police forces impact on society.

Projects focus on Impact Measurement analytics, Predictive analytics, and Impact Evaluation Services.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing, designing and executing research projects using quantitative and qualitative methods;

Conducting fieldwork activity and working with and managing external research partners where needed.

Working with large data sets, translating strategic insights into clear practical recommendations and driving improvements
Evaluating the impact of clients services against key criteria, developing a new evaluation strategy and assisting them to understand how they can increase their impact.

Your background

You will have at least 5 years work experience with demonstrable knowledge of and experience in leading, designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies.

A strong appreciation of the UK policing sector and the way police forces work in general. We are willing to consider applicants who understand other parts of the Criminal Justice System, such as probation services, as long as they understand fully the police role.

An excellent academic record, with relevant research completed, or a relevant Masters or PhD

An ability to analyse and synthesise large quantities of complex data and translate this into clear insights

Competency in analysis software e.

g. SPSS, R,

The ability to manage client relationships confidently and effectively

The position offers a hybrid model of working with 2 days per week based in the London office.
