Barnardo's Training and Consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Safeguarding Consultant to support the work of the consultancy team. The role will involve working in a commercial environment as a team member responsible for the design and completion of safeguarding consultancy work . Given the impact of the pandemic we are undertaking some work online so good IT proficiency as well as a high level of professional integrity and sound competency in, and experience of advising on complex safeguarding matters will be key requirements . The post holder will be expected to support the Head of Business with the delivery of consultancy work , working as part of a highly skilled team, where confidence and a detailed knowledge of the safeguarding agenda is essential. This is a busy and demanding environment so you should enjoy working at a pace and enjoy variety .A professional qualification is required in social work , health, education or youth work .
