Department overview:
The Commercial Strategy and Operations team are seeking a Sales Support Associate to aid the Sales team in the processing of their opportunities, agreements and troubleshooting any other SalesForce issues they may encounter. The successful candidates will provide a highly responsive service to our internal clients (Sales) with accuracy and efficiency underpinning everything we do.
The primary function of the Commercial Strategy and Operations team is to work with Sales, Client Services and other teams within Fitch Solutions in a number of areas including s upporting the Global Sales team in the processing of opportunities, d esign, set up and management of clients' acces s, s etting commercial pricing strategy and the management of enhancements to SalesForce.
This is an excellent opportunity in a time of expansion of size and responsibilities within the team for the right candidate, who will have the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of Fitch Solutions products and operational processes.
The role will report to the Commercial Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and aid the Sales Team with processing of SalesForce opportunities.
- Manage the Contract Management Lifecycle (CLM) process in SalesForce in liaison with the Sales, Sales Operations and Legal Teams:
- Set up agreement object in SFDC for new and renewing clients to ensure ability to accurately submit to our billing systems
- Generate contractual documents directly from the CLM system and amend as needed to meet the Sales Teams needs
- Co-ordinate any changes requested and make sure all appropriate approvals have been received before creating a final document for signature
- On signature from the client update SFDC with any relevant information related to the agreement and submit to sales operations for activation
- Manage any changes/rejection to submitted deal working with sales and sales operations and resubmit
- Upload final dual signed document to SFDC and delete any obsolete contractual documents in line with the file maintenance policy
- Work with commercial operations team to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SFDC/CLM systems
- Trouble shooting errors (system or human) and identify and report Salesforce system bugs and enhancements to the Salesforce Product Owner.
Qualifications and experience:
Required:
- Experience working in a Sales Support function.
- Demonstrable knowledge of a sales process using a CRM tool such as SalesForce.
- Customer service orientation (Sales Teams are your client).
- Quick learner with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, including ability to prioritise and work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization; track record of developing relationships grounded in trust and credibility
- Self-motivated who can work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
