Job title: Salesforce Developer

Job type: Permanent Role

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000, dependent upon experience

Location: Fully remote role

A Salesforce Developer is required at one of the UK's leading financial services company. With over £5 billion in assets, you'll have the opportunity to work for an organisation that provides financial solutions to over a million individuals and businesses.

With the opportunity to join a small but expanding team, you'll have the chance to grow with them and have the ability to shape the culture. During your time as a Salesforce Developer, you will regularly collaborate with a team in India, allowing an exchange of ideas within a diverse group.

You, a Salesforce Developer, will provide technical expertise and architectural/design vision alongside the mentoring of junior team members. The role entails an approximately 70/30 split between hands-on work as a developer and time dedicated to process improvements, mentoring and improving documentation.

Skill requirements needed for this Salesforce Developer role:

  • Working within a genuinely Agile development environment
  • Good understanding and experience of working with version control (eg Git, Subversion)
  • Good understanding of Web Design principals and UI experience in (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS etc.)
  • Coding in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or Go
  • Understanding of Big Data/Data Lake principals.

Knowledge & experience needed for this Salesforce Developer role:

  • SalesForce Applications Development - experienced in the following (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, SOSL etc.)
  • Experience of the CI/CD pipeline (eg Jenkins, TeamCity) and release pipeline tools (eg Bamboo)

  • Display strong leadership skills and be happy to support and guide others
  • Help define strategic direction
  • Demonstrate a team-based approach to work with a clear sense of purpose
  • Show proven ability to acquire new skills and work in a rapid-change environment
