About the School - Second in Charge of Mathematics - Hackney, East London

This over-subscribed Hackney school has a fantastic reputation locally, and last years cohort achieved great results with 93% achieving 5 or more 9-5 grades.
The school is very strong in Mathematics and Computing and completed a building programme which has increased ICT facilities and given modern, bright facilities and resources.
Parents, staff and students have a strong connection in this school, and work together very well with few behaviour issues and pupils that are keen to learn.
Although a holistic education is very much encouraged, many students from this school go on to achieve places at Russell Group Universities, and some Oxbridge too.

About the Role - Second in Charge of Mathematics - Hackney, East London

This is a great role that will allow the successful post holder to have a large amount of freedom in shaping its direction. You will lead from the front and have a knack for guiding less experienced staff to get the best out of them, whilst supporting more experienced staff in their career development.
The successful candidate will replace the current 2ic who is the key stage co-ordinator for KS4/5, and also teaches a few KS3 lessons.
Ideally they are seeking experienced teachers who already have some level of additional responsibility in their current roles or are keen and able to take on a position at this level.
This is an essential role for the school in line with their development plans, and as such is a high-profile position they want to fill with the very best Leadership talent.
