Are you an aspiring teacher looking to gain some valuable classroom experience? If so, here at Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a Secondary School in Southwark in recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant for November 2021 start.

At this school their Teaching Assistants are also known as a Student Support Assistant (SSA), this is full time position until the end of the academic year (July 2022)

Interested applicants must have experience working with secondary aged students with SEN needs.

As the successful Teaching Assistant (SSA) for this Secondary School in Southwark, you will be supporting 13 - 18-year-old students with low learning ability. You will also be supporting students with ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis.

This support role is a great way to hence your classroom experience and it will help you to understand different abilities and work with different experienced teachers! A positive and motivated Teaching Assistant would be an excellent addition to the school!

This role is available on a long-term supply starting in the new academic year November 2021 until the end of their academic year (July 2022) for the right candidate. Interested applicants must be able to communicate well with students and have a great knowledge in all subjects.

This is a full-time post Monday to Friday; total hour for the week will equate to (35 hours per week).

As the successful applicant you will be supported and guided by experienced teachers and support staff. This college holds daily meetings with you to help you prepare for the lessons throughout the day!
