Job Title: Senior Administrator - Modern SlaveryReporting to: Service ManagerContract: Permanent Full-TimeInterview date: To be confirmedAbout the Service/Department:Hestia is the largest provider of accommodation and outreach support to vulnerable adults who may have experienced Modern Slavery in London. We also provide safe house accommodation in Kent. 'Trafficking' is the movement of a person from one place to another for the purposes of exploitation. Individuals may have been forced, coerced or deceived into coming, or may have come willingly to the UK but been deceived about the nature or conditions of work they would experience on their arrival.Survivors of trafficking are often subject to high levels of physical, sexual and psychological violence. For this reason, and because they may be afraid of the police, it may take individuals time to disclose the full extent of their experiences.Hestia provides trauma informed care and support to survivors of Modern Slavery through our homely safehouses and responsive outreach service, assisting individuals to recover from the effects of trafficking and supporting survivors on their journey through the National Referral Mechanism recovery and reflection period. This service supports Men, Women & FamiliesReferrals to the service are increasing with more survivors being identified; but there is still more work to do. Hestia is continuously developing new and innovative projects and services to meet the needs of survivors of Modern Slavery.In this role you will be working with a friendly team and have Flexible working hours. There are also great learning and development opportunities.About the role:To provide organised administrative support to the Modern Slavery Service. Following directions from Service Manager, this will include assisting with all administrative processes including database procedures, data input, financial records, monthly reports, admin support for recruitment processes and referral pathways.Some other main responsibilities of the role include:Facilitate and ensure referrals are signposted in a timely mannerHandle requests for information and data and address or signpost these in a timely manner.
