Amnesty International UK (AIUK) has a simple aim: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they are denied. Do you want to use your skills, knowledge and experience to help change the world? You could be our new Senior Community Organiser leading on anti-racism and activism.

About the role

The Campaigning Communities team help us achieve our goal of connecting with communities and developing activism by using community organising. The Anti-Racism and Activism organiser is accountable for the development of networks and developing anti-racism through Amnesty International UK's activism streams.They will also seek opportunities and partnerships to innovate and connect to other movements working on anti-racism.They will also develop our overall approach to building and supporting diverse, inclusive and powerful campaigning networks. Alongside this they will develop the networks, design and deliver training to, build partnerships with external organisations and strengthen our activism.

The role may be for you if:

You're skilled in building relationships, particularly working with communities of colour. You have been community organising and develop partnerships and activism.

You can manage complex relationships and bring people together on issues that they can all work on.

You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.

You also have a good knowledge of anti-racism and disability organising.
