The Senior Director, Data Science will work in close collaboration with the Head of Data & Analytics to develop our data science capabilities in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy data science solutions for our clients. They will create custom solutions as well as build standardised products. The candidate will also develop and grow the data science team.What You'll DoLead our data science efforts in the EMEA region in close collaboration with the Head of Data & AnalyticsCreate custom solutions for projects in the areas of audience & influencer insights, conversation & media analysis, campaign & message performance, event assessment and moreDerive and build standardised products from custom solutionsUse statistics and machine learning techniques to solve complex challenges for our clients, especially regarding their communication and reputation effortsDetect hidden patterns, identify trends, reveal drivers, predict developments, visualise similarities and differences, and otherwise leverage data to deliver actionable insightsIdentify and build systematic data pipelinesDevelop and grow a cross-regional team of data scientistsCollaborate with other experts on the research, planning and development of data-driven projectsSupport new business efforts by delivering data-driven insights to inform our approachSupport the development of thought leadership surrounding emerging trends and issuesHelps clients identify and escalate risks in order to act and communicate with integrity.Understands and lives by FTI's values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice, and works with junior staff to embed these concepts within the firm's culture.
