Job description

An exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) as Senior Finance Business Partner.

About the role

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead all Capital Expenditure (Capex) matters, modelling them within the College's 5-year business plan and holding responsibility for all Capex budgets, as well as leading financial strategy for our Recovery Programme.

This is a unique and varied role in which you will support organisation wide projects, lead value for money initiatives and promote a culture of efficiency, effectiveness and economy within College business processes.

About you

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with full membership to a CCAB institute and experience in capital accounting, value for money and financial reporting. You will be highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements including bank reports, customer statements and credit notes.

You will have a clear and demonstrable understanding of fundamental accounting principles and will be able to convey financial data in a clear and understandable way to non-finance personnel.
