*SENIOR FIRE ALARM ENGINEER - BASIC SALARY UP TO £42,000 + OVERTIME & CALL OUTS!*

Our client, who have been trading for many years, are an established & very successful Fire Detection and Safety company based in the London area. They are looking for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.
* Basic salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications).
* Company vehicle, fuel card & mobile phone provided.
* Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
* Overtime available on top of your rate of 1.5x.
* Taking part in call outs on a rota basis - earning on top of your salary for standby rate and call outs.

Your role as a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer will include:

*Role & Responsibilities: *
* Involved in the installation, service, repair, commissioning and fault-finding of addressable and conventional Fire alarm systems and Emergency Lighting.
* The role involves carrying out routine maintenance and service visits for Fire Extinguishers, including attending to emergency call outs.
* You will provide advice to customers to ensure opportunities to improve fire safety are not missed, and that the basic principles of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems are understood.
* You will cover the Greater London area (including Central London when required) as well as across the South East of England.

*The Ideal Person: *
* You will have at least 5 years experience in the Fire Industry.
* Strong electrical knowledge / qualifications would be an advantage.
* A team player.
* Flexibility to work long hours and attend to call outs for customers.
* Somebody who has a passion for the Fire Industry and is a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
* Somebody who has excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
* Excellent knowledge of British Standards.
* FIA/ BAFE/ IFEDA Accreditation.
* Ideally you will be multi disciplined from service, small works, fault-finding, installation and maintenance.
* Excellent Knowledge of various panels such as: Morley, C-Tec, Advanced. Notifier, Kentec, Gent, Hayes and Protec.
* You will hold a Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent - This is an essential requirement.
