About the role:

We are a close knit Engineering team all focused on building something special. We need a passionate Senior Full Stack Developer to help us achieve our mission - you will be working with the latest technology to support our roadmap. Our software culture promotes code quality, following industry best practice coding standards and test coverage of our code.

You should be hungry for innovation and keen to explore and utilise all of the tools available to make your work effective, efficient and industry leading. You will work closely with the rest of the Engineering and Product teams to build elegant, high performance solutions.

Tech Stack:

• Node.js/Typescript to write our APIs
• React with TypeScript is our chosen technology for frontends
• Kubernetes/Docker for deployment, management and scaling
• AWS for our infrastructure
• MongoDB Atlas for our data
• Kafka for messaging/events
• Python, Scikit-Learn, Flask is a plus
  

What you'll need:

• Strong experience in TypeScript, React and node.js working in a full-stack environment with a flair and passion for frontend development
• Knowledge of systems architecture and web technologies, RESTful API design, and exposure to scalable, distributed and real-time platforms
• Experience working within an Agile software team (SCRUM)
• Working closely with product and/or users to understand concepts and prototype ideas
• Owning frontend and full stack feature builds end to end
• Able to review current features and suggest/make enhancements
• Contribute to the product architecture and design
  

"Nice to have" but not essential:

• An interest in product and start-ups; working with a small team to take a new offering to market excites you
• Interest/experience in user research, product design, UX design
• Interest/experience in infrastructure/DevOps
