Senior Marketing Fundraiser - PlanningChildren's Charity, Central London£33,000 - £38,000Working from home, following government guidelines14 Month ContractClosing - 26th AugustOur client is a leading Children's Charity who are looking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic and well-organised direct marketing fundraiser to join their team. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the post holder will be responsible for running a variety of campaigns that maximise the contribution that is made by both the Charity's new and existing donors - in particular improving The Charity's planning and development of fundraising messaging.The successful candidate will support the Head of Individual Supporters to improve their audience led approach to income generation, in particular improving the planning and development of fundraising messaging. This will be across individual giving and digital marketing. You will be responsible for scoping out the messaging requirements for fundraising campaigns and lead on developing messaging that will be used by Individual Giving and with other teams in the Income Generation division. You will work to gather and share external insights, highlighting opportunities and influencing fundraising activities.The role will involve developing the Individual Giving marketing calendar to include key external moments in time and The Charity's activity; share with Head of Departments and wider Individual Giving team, along with sharing Individual Giving plans and represent Individual Giving requirements with teams across The Charity.A self starter, you'll have great communication skills and an analytical mind as you will need to gather requirements from a number of teams in Fundraising , source that information from across the organisation and help turn that into brilliant fundraising campaigns.The CandidateExperience of marketing planning is essential (preferably within fundraising, although not essential)Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to understand, interpret and present complex information in a clear, confident and persuasive way for a range of audiencesAbility to collect information from various sources, analyse findings, identify opportunities, evaluate their viability and present findings clearly in a way that meets desired outcomesProven ability to build, manage and develop positive and fruitful relationships within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationshipsWell-developed ability to successfully negotiate with others to achieve desired outcomesStrong project management and team building skills, and working well with others as part of a team, giving support and recognising expertise in othersThe ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines often with conflicting prioritiesProven ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomesInterested Applicants should send their CV in the first instance.
