Senior Marketing Manager (Ark Curriculum Plus)

Reports to: Partnerships Director

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Location: London

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000

Closing date: 10am on 17 December 2021

About the role:

You will support the business in customer retention and growing market share, right across the marketing mix from brand marketing to performance marketing, content and product marketing, Identifying and optimising key growth areas with tactical marketing campaigns in line with an overall strategic goal

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop the Ark Curriculum + brand and marketing strategies, in addition to programme- and campaign-level plan and oversee campaign development and deployment through management of the cross-channel tactical plans, ensuring all activity supports strategic objectives.
• Devise and deploy lead generation campaigns which deliver against pipeline generation and conversion targets.
• Oversee strategy and implementation of the partner communications, fostering a customer community and supporting ongoing retention.
• Lead on brand management, ensuring all product marketing, campaign development and external tools are aligned with our brand strategy and guidelines.
• Work closely with Partnerships & Development team to ensure customer insights remain at the heart of all activity and that we are effectively communicating our benefits according to customer needs through creation of impactful collateral.
• Plan and manage all marketing expenditure for the year.
• Provide regular updates on marketing activity, performance & impact to Sales, Leadership team and senior stakeholders and proactively contributing ideas to make improvements and help develop a marketing roadmap for future growth.
• Development of direct reports to ensure they can perform to the best of their capabilities and meet their goals and objectives.

Key Requirements:

Essential experience/ skills

The successful candidate will:

• have demonstrable B2C product marketing experience at a senior level, heavily involved in planning marketing strategies, with a strong focus on lead generation
• have context of marketing within B2B environments
• be an expert planner and comfortable delivering across multiple channels to launch products, deliver cross sell campaigns, customer engagement and retention initiatives
• have experience of taking new products to market with a proven track record of success and examples of where you have demonstrated ROI
• have excellent communication skills
• have excellent stakeholder management
• be motivated by both strategic and tactical work, willing to get stuck in where needed
• have experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)

Desirable

• Knowledge of the education sector
• Marketing qualification (eg CIM)
