Senior Operations Manager (In-house Creative Studio)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 p.a.
Location: Stratford office, high flex (1-2 days in office)
Working pattern: Permanent 35 hours (please contact us if you would like to discuss a flexible arrangement)

This is a uniquely exciting time here at CRUK. We have come a long way in establishing our centralised in-house creative studio, bringing together expertise from across the organisation and implementing processes to allow us to support the whole organisation with creative solutions. We are now looking for a Senior Operations Professional to help take the team and our processes to the next level. Working alongside our Head of Creative, you will lead the operations of the creative team, helping to drive forward a new culture of creativity.
If you have experience of working in large, fast-paced and complex organisations, this may be the perfect role for you. Collaboration will be at the heart of everything, and you'll be working with colleagues from across the organisation, leadership and creatives to deliver the very best content for CRUK.
You will be an integral part our in-house creative studio made up of a wealth of creative disciplines including; videography, live and streaming event production, photography, design, motion graphics, illustration, information design, strategic content and copywriting. You'll lead the way in embedding new ways of working, systems, and processes. Your team will be the front door to the studio, forging strong, practical, and collaborative relationships with commissioning teams, managing the flow of work and traffic in and out, forecasting, planning, and reporting on outputs and importantly ensuring creative and brand quality assurance.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience of working in a large, in-house creative team or agency, in a client services or traffic manager role, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and building key relationships to deliver the highest of standards of service.
- Relevant experience of using traffic and production management systems and software with proven ability to assess workflow, deadlines and level of opportunity/risk and make decisions to prioritise and allocate resource accordingly.
- Relevant experience in operationally managing a team, setting up and optimising processes, systems and standards and looking for opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Demonstrable skills in influencing and negotiating with people across all teams and levels to ensure the business outcomes are achieved.
- Project management skills and experience of working with digital content preferable.
- You'll also be a strong strategic thinker, proficient in prioritisation, and with long-term planning skills and significant experience of operationalising strategic plans.
