Senior Programmes Officer (Grants)
Ref: 871/SPO
Location: London Islington (Angel) with a requirement to work across London and occasionally the South of England / remote working arrangements
Contract: Fixed term contract to 31 December 2022, with a possibility to extend
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Groundwork London are looking for a Senior Programmes Officer to join the grants team to support management, coordination and delivery of the Trust's grant programmes.

Groundwork London is responsible for a number of grant schemes across a variety of environmental and regeneration themes, including the TfL Walking and Cycling Grants London, GLA Grow Back Greener, Our Space Award, Royal Docks Create Your Docks and MOPAC Shared Endeavour Fund

The postholder will be an experienced project manager with experience working in grants or contract management and have the ability to lead a team in the execution of project work. Experience or interest in improving social or environmental welfare will be beneficial.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the role, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and self-manage a workload whilst supporting colleagues within the team. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases to manage grants programme data is needed this role.
