Job description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the procurement and implementation of our new Learning Management System at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
About the role
We are embarking on a project to procure and implement a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver all RCOG educational activity to our members. RCOG eLearning is a key membership benefit, and also supports O&G doctors preparing for their MRCOG examinations with revision resources. Investing in a new education LMS platform will provide the College with the digital transformational activity required for greater global usage and growth, and ultimately a transformation that would enable RCOG education to be beyond the digital offering of any competitor.
As our Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for all project management activities including project planning, estimating workloads, developing schedules, analysing risks to the project, responding to changes in project scope, maintaining, managing, and delegating resources effectively and ensuring that the project meets the quality standards. You will also be expected to establish best practice processes and documentation with regards to the effective delivery of digital projects, ensuring these are integrated into the wider PMO guidance and effectively disseminated to all departments across the College.
About you
As the ideal candidate you will have:
Prince 2/Agile Project Management qualification or equivalent course or experience
Relevant Project Management experience, across a variety of projects
Good understanding of digital platforms and development and integration processes
Basic technical knowledge of system structures and software development
Experience using Prince2 and Agile development methodologies e.g. SCRUM
Experience of business analysis, system procurement, process review and implementation
