Job description
Our Green Investment Group's global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
To support our next phase of growth, you will join the team as a Senior Technical Finance specialist, initially focusing on a 1.5GW Offshore wind project, where you will play a key part in our current and future wind projects and their development.
You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and collating financial data to develop, implement and communicate a clear technology finance driven strategy and ensure that financial engineering performance improvements, levelised cost of energy reductions and project improvements are implemented at each stage of the project. You will be the first point of contact for technical finance calculations and will collect and relay lessons learned feedback from projects and development to relevant stakeholders.
To be successful in the role, you will hold a degree in engineering, coupled with at least five years of professional and financial experience gained within a related field or other complex experience within the energy, power plants, infrastructure or construction industry. You will also bring a strong understanding of all technical and commercial aspects throughout the design and project phase.
