Job description

One of the world's largest banks are searching for a Senior VP level hire to manage and support their back office accounting applications. The stack is Oracle Financials Suite of applications, including the likes of General Ledger, and all are hosted in Oracle Cloud. You will need to have an existing in depth knowledge of this Oracle stack so you can step into the role as an SME. You will lead a team of 14 to handle regular BAU support and also various projects, whilst also regularly engaging with developers and finance. This area has a very modern stack and has seen heavy technical investment. They are currently going live with ARCS and have just started to roll out brand new AI and machine learning reporting tech, Oracle analytics. Resultingly, the team's cloud setup has set the standard for other entities who are looking to copy their approach. Other areas cloud transformations are projects you would have the opportunity to assist with.

Requirements:

• Support/Services background - 15+ years' experience

• Expert knowledge of Oracle Financials/Oracle Fusion Cloud Apps

• Expert with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets

• Good experience with Procure-to-pay, procurement & purchasing

• Experience with Oracle Cloud

• Reporting tech experience - OTBI, BI Publisher and SmartView

• Management/Leadership experience is greatly preferred

• Experience with SQL, preferably ETL exposure

• Preferred - Background in accounting - partly or fully qualified, FS/insurance background

• Bonus - ARCS/Account Reconciliation Cloud Service, Oracle Analytics
