Role: Service Architect

Location: West London - with hybrid working and occasional travel

Duration: 3-month initial contract

Day rate: Rate negotiable (inside IR35)

Our client is looking for Service Architects to join their growing team to implement a new service strategy and design capability.

The Role:

• Leading from a Service Design perspective for any technical/tooling change across the business.
• Creating required templated artefacts needed to support the business demand, whilst ensuring agility, pace and diligence throughout the service life cycle.
• Supporting and enabling the service portfolio including identifying new services, defining the life cycle of all services, prioritising investment initiatives for new/improved tooling and services based on business priorities.
• Facilitate and govern: the review of new or amended services, the design of the service elements of any new IT services, and the definition of the services/support 'wrapper'.
• Establish and document service acceptance criteria, ensuring consistency in the operational support model.
• Ensuring all changes are assessed and supportable, establish and maintain the service architecture and best practice.
• Working with product teams and managers to provide expertise on the design, planning and governance of projects and business initiatives in relation to service architecture
• Building and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders, alongside liaising with 3rd party suppliers and service partners.

Experience needed:

• ITIL certifications and worked within service management ITIL frameworks
• Understanding of service design in a hybrid infrastructure hosting model; AWS experience
• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Experience with designing service management procedures and processes
• Current operating model concept - worked in DevSecOps or DevOps ways of working - or at least worked in a service design capacity where you understand these models
• Managing multiple vendors across different regions

Nice to have:

• Experience operating in a multi-cultural, multi-country environment
• Spanish-speaking would be a bonus
