Are you a qualified accountant with a sound knowledge of rents and service charge legislation and accounting?

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Service Charge Analyst Team Leader to join our Finance team in London.

What you'll be doing

We're looking for someone with a high level of initiative, enthusiasm and motivation to manage and support a team of Service Charge Analysts, setting accurate estimates for service charges for existing and new build properties across a range of product and tenure types. You and your team will be pivotal in ensuring that residents have affordable homes to live in, ensuring charges are set in accordance with Rent Standard and associated legislation and guidance.

With the ability to achieve strenuous performance targets and deliver at pace along with your commitment to achieving results and ensuring quality of service delivery, you'll manage a team of Service Charge Analysts through regular 1:1's; team meetings and annual performance reviews to ensure your team are motivated to deliver a high quality service to customers.

You'll ensure that rent charges are reviewed and conduct high level checks to ensure consistency using your experience of delivering accurate financial information and analytical techniques to review large data sets.

What we're looking for

You will be a qualified Accountant from a recognised CCAB institute with proven experience of using analytical techniques to review large data sets. You'll also have a sound knowledge of Rents and Service Charge legislation.

As an excellent communicator with project and time management skills you'll develop and enhance the knowledge and experience within the team and develop processes for streamlining the provision of information to residents when challenged on service charge costs and suggest improvements in process.
