Site Agent - CP6 (Earthworks/Structures) - London
Are you a Site Agent looking for your next role where you can utilise your technical skill set on a day to day basis while working on an interesting project that will offer you continued development? If so Murphy Group are keen to hear from you regarding to opportunities on CP6. As a Site Agent you will provide site based leadership for all construction and installation operations; promoting Health & Safety management, construction best practice and management of site construction resources in close liaison with the Project Manager. Most importantly you will be enthusiastic, driven, a good communicator in addition to being a strong leader/motivator that is able to manage various projects to ensure continuity of the works programme and your delivery team.

What you will be doing
Produce Construction Phase Plans (H&S Plans), Risk Assessments, Work Package Plans (Method Statements) and Task Briefings in line with Murphy procedures
Ensure that suitable project specific execution plans are produced reviewed and updated on a regular basis and their requirements are communicated and understood by all project personnel and any others who may be affected.
Review, maintain, update and amend safe systems of work to ensure it is safe and without risk to health, and the changes are recorded in Project Construction Phase Plans (H&S Plans).
Communicate with rest of site team including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety officers and clerk of works to ensure full understanding of information.
Ensure daily diaries and allocation sheets are up to date.
Work with engineers on setting out information and details of technical information, contributing to the preparation of method statements.
Who we are looking for
PTS/ SMSTS
Hold either degree or suitable engineering qualification
Have experience in delivering civil engineering projects within the rail environment.
Confident in producing work package plans and site delivery paperwork to a good standard and be able to monitor works against works schedules and cost forecasts.
Be able to manage site safety and establish safe systems and carry inspections and audits.
Manage site quality and produce quality documentation and manage its development through the projects.
Temporary works co-ordinator training or temporary works supervisor (not essential)
