Job description

Are you a Senior Editor / animator (2D and 3D) looking for your next role? Our well known sports client is looking for a creative & technical whizz (Aftereffects /AFX & Premiere) and leader to join their busy team. In this role you will be working in an in-house Creative Agency with an emphasis on bringing creative ideas to life, and contribute towards the development and execution of our various post production requirements.

You will be integral to development, and output of motion deliverables. You'll work alongside Lead Creatives and Production department in the planning, ideation and production of creative across TVCs, social and various other motion touchpoints for example Out Of Home and Retail.

As the first port of call in developing video creative including storyboards, feasibility and accurate timing estimates. A natural creative, you'll be given the space to problem solve and immerse yourself in R&D and developing techniques to elevate quality of output.

You will also manage the workflow of the post production team. You will be integral to developing motion practices and ways of working. You will be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to these processes, utilisation of studio documentation and data management. You'll be aware of how to gauge an opportunity, what the limitations are and where new ground can be broken.

A Natural Leader: the client is in the process of realigning how they create motion output and the team to service the business needs. You will aid the Creative Director and Director of Creative Ops in identifying and hiring the team around you, as well as being their day to day line manager.

Editorial Excellence: This is not just a managerial role, you will still be expected and given the platform to exercise your core skill and execute a range of edit projects, primarily live action and 2D animation, but also 3D from time to time

Passion for sport - A very strong motion all-rounder with experience in live action, 2D and 3D animation.

SOFTWARE

- Very good knowledge of Premier and AFX / aftereffects along with best working practices.

- A good grasp C4D, Arnold and Houdini. - Still/Motion camera operation and lighting is a plus but not a pre-requisite.

- A basic understanding of InDesign.
