Job description

Product Planning

• Develop & manage the product roadmap and backlog

• Define the product features & prioritize their development, balancing technical and business requirements and trade-offs

• Develop deep empathy for the users of the product, conduct user research and translate user needs into product requirements

• Ability to Illustrate users' needs effectively via personas, journeys and wireframes

• Owns release planning and sets objectives (OKRs) for the product

• Test prototypes and launched products/features with users, gathering and synthesizing feedback to steer the roadmap

Development

• Lead internal and external technical development teams, including designers, advanced analytic experts, engineers and testers

• Expertise in Agile methodology, and ability to effectively lead scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, demo etc.)

• Accountable for the ensuring that development sprints are well defined and managed

• Identify and address technical risks

• Provide direction to the development team on technical trade-off's

• Keep up to date on current tech trends, established and emerging providers of technology and analytic offerings

• In collaboration with the development team, decide how and when to integrate 3rd party partners / solutions into our offering

• Manage critical 3rd party technology relationships, with specific responsibilities around managing budgets for 3rd party development teams

Sales & Marketing

• Support partner-driven sales and marketing efforts, including customer pipeline management and preparation of marketing collateral

• Lead new product launches and release communications

• Help define how to sell the software and conducts sales training

• Participate as "lead sales engineer" in critical client meetings, conducts demos

Service & Support

• Define and monitor product success metrics, including financials, product usage, NPS etc. to ensure successful product adoption

• Test the product in market with clients and Bain case teams, including coordinating beta tests, leading client installations (as needed) and providing training

• Leads product councils and user groups with key clients and users

• Actively source feedback from internal and external users and ensure it is reflected in the product roadmap

Interestingly this role will work as a floater between products working with 2-3 teams on leading edge software solutions. The Senior Product Manager will also use Data to determine the cutomers use and look for software solutions to improve the customers UX.

The senior product manager will run the scrums, liase with internal development teams, build out wireframes in a low code environment. Tableau, Mendix.
