Job description
Are you a strong software engineer interested in developing large-scale, cloud-native platforms? Join our Quant Strategy team and help us grow and expand our successful software delivery and analytic platform to new markets and functions, such as algorithmic trading.
Our Quant Strategy team applies specialist methods from mathematics, science and engineering to generate revenue. We work on data, models, and algorithms with application to derivative valuation and risk, automated trading, and data-driven decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong programming skills in one or more of Python, Scala, Java or C++ and a demonstrable passion for technology and engineering excellence.
You don't need to have financial markets experience, but you will bring strong analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside intellectual curiosity, self-motivation and great communication and collaboration skills.
You will have outstanding academic achievements, ideally a relevant university technology degree, post-graduate qualification or equivalent.
The following are advantageous but not essential:
- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Kubernetes
- Front end development experience e.g., with ReactJS
This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a global front-office team, closely aligned with revenue generation.
