Bringing Technology to life
You will be responsible for executing RCAs and leading code fixes/data fixes for Teamcenter PLM interfaces and integrations in the context of DEV/OPS with the final goal of reducing incidents inflow, increasing data quality and business on time delivery. You will work independently and define priorities with the PLM application owners for TPS, OFE and OFS instances about interface monitoring, RCAs and fixes. You will cooperate with the project team Solution Architects about interface and integration related matters in relation to new interfaces introduction and support hand over. You will be coordinating the effort of creating, completing, and managing interface related documentation in a structured manner.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the whole product, its modules, and the interrelationships between them and external systems, while gaining expertise in the specific components and processes.
- Identifying the scope of work and execute the same, providing initial estimate, and justify the same with facts and ROI assessment by analyzing gathered data for existing interfaces.
- Learning, adopting, and supporting the definition of new integration techniques among systems keeping always focus on app. maintainability and error traceability.
- Extending and evolving existing and new interface monitoring platforms with the aim of reporting/detecting and preventing future failures.
- Capturing system level requirements and executing RCAs by brainstorming and with Sr. Architects, Businesses & Product Managers on need.
- Being responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
- Analyzing interfaces and integrations documenting them according to UML standards to fully define the application, review the documentation with SA and with Sys admin, Managing documentation in a structured repository
- Guiding a team of developers/analysts defining their priorities with a proper balance about documentation, RCAs, development and fixes using agile methodologies and tools.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a BSc. in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or documented experience in the field.
- Have PLM application knowledge (advantageous). PLM training will be provided.
- Have knowledge of enterprise applications and interface technologies / data analyst.
- Have hands-on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.), using Apache Commons Suite, SQL Database such as Oracle.
- Have very good problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments.
- Be proactive in identifying and removing obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team while collaborating with the rest of the organization.
