All our services provide regular reflective practice spaces to our colleagues to formulate complex cases and find constructive ways forward. These are what make us such a great team, working together as one to achieve our vision.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Support OfficerWorking within an 8 bedroom support living home your responsibilities will include:Key working (2-3 customers0Encouraging customers to participate in social inclusion activitiesBe there to empower and teach/show how to cook, maintain personal hygiene, budget, doing laundry etcParticipate in activities that promote independent living, and access to training, education and workCarry out assessment to identify and prioritize needs.Provide a comprehensive support planning service to customers in line with the department's policies, procedures and approach.Set up and maintain customer files and ensure that accurate and up to date records are kept of support provided to customersIn accommodation based services, liaise closely with the Housing Management Team to identify problems with Housing Benefit payments, review rent collection and address other tenancy-related matters.What you need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is friendly, engaged and committed to achieving great outcomes for our customers.The successful candidate will:Posses experience within a support living environmentUnderstanding, knowledge or experience around Mental Health and different diagnosisBe empathetic and non-judgementalSupport Officer / Support Assistant experience (minimum 1 year preferred)The offerOur benefits offer you an array of perks designed with your wellbeing in mind.Salary: £22065.27Location: Greenwich, SE9Shifts: Early's and Lates (NO SLEEP INS) - earliest start is 7am - and latest finish is 9.30pm - 37.5 hours per weekYour holidays are important to us.
