Job description

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.



  • To identify top talent in the retail market (and outside where appropriate) and use knowledge of the brands and their strategic focus to assess the most suitable candidates
  • To manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from attraction (including writing engaging and compelling job adverts), to assessment and selection (deciding on appropriate recruitment methods, reviewing candidate profiles and conducting interviews) through to offer management and feedback. Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the journey
  • To promote vacancies both internally and externally using a variety of different channels
  • To build strong partnering relationships with Hiring Managers across the Group at all levels.
  • Utilise a variety of channels to attract and source candidates (including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and other tools)
  • To update in house databases, spreadsheets and recruiting systems (ATS, careers site etc), monitoring of KPI's where appropriate
  • To liaise with candidates and stakeholders with a positive and initiative driven approach to interview coordination and diary management, ensuring consistency in approach across the Group
  • Although focussed on direct sourcing, this role may require you to manage and liaise with external recruitment agencies agreeing competitive terms and SLA's
  • To support the wider business with Talent Acquisition related projects
  • To work with the wider HR team and across the business to build a strong Employer Brand upon which our recruitment journey is based
  • To report on KPIs such as time to recruit, cost to hire, source success etc

  • Previous experience of recruiting for retail roles through proactive talent identification, headhunting and talent pooling
  • Understanding of assessment and selection methodology and tools
  • High focus on candidate experience- ability to put the candidate at the heart of our decisions and balancing that with business requirements
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends and themes to enable aligned decision making
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders to achieve success
  • Ability to drive maximum value and ROI through commercial and strategic approach to talent acquisition decision making and activity
  • A confident ambassador of our brands internally and externally
  • High level of emotional intelligence and skills
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Demonstrable ability to build trust and influence a wide range of stakeholders at various levels using data and industry insight to support your decisions
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a proactive, timely, can-do approach (we're a small team and work at pace!)
  • Ability and experience of creating compelling attraction and candidate content
  • Experience of multi-tasking and managing differing priorities
  • Ideally you will have a background within fashion & retail or a comparable business in a similar role
