We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help us build that future with a robust outcome of customer experiences that are scalable across our tech stack.Duties:You'll be able to unpack problems and create beautiful and intelligent customer-facing solutions navigating technical complexity underneathYou'll know how to critically think around system design, back end functions (back office) API integration, and external and internal tooling and translate these into simple and intuitive customer experiencesYou'll use your experience in detailed technical analysis, working with peers in engineering and across the business to create workflows, operational process mapping, product technical documentation and define implementable solutions across the tech stack.Working across teams and within a cross-functional Product and Product Design team, you'll harness the research and design thinking to bring these solutions to life, so they make sense for our customers to useYou'll have experience in working towards wider company OKRs that look at providing operational solutions on tooling and platform that enable operational efficiency as well as growthCollaborating with a team of cross-functional engineers, you'll be key to help define the core platform capabilities, building robust technical journeys to support everything from customer support operations to new product offeringsRequirements5+ years working in a similar role as Technical Product Manager or Technical Business AnalystProven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle from platform to end user customer experienceExperience in understanding API contractsProven experience in developing product strategies from concept to release and managementSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, databases and web technologies.Experience of working collaboratively with engineering teams in an Agile cross-functional team set up using Atlassian suite of productsStrong working knowledge of data-driven products and tools and reporting to enable changes, improvements and opportunities.Experience in building and owning technical roadmaps and feature requests and managing these in a cross functional product and engineering teamExperience with working with internal and external tooling, CRMs, databases, Microservices and platform servicesSkill in outputting business workflows, detailed user requirements and stories as well as complimenting Engineering documentationBe adept at prioritization and trade-offs that align with the company vision and shared OKRs whilst driving your own to enable product services and features that drive growth, adoption of new services and products as well as retain customersBenefitsCompetitive salaryHybrid remote working modelPension matching as part of auto-enrolment25 days holiday plus bank holidays with an extra day for your birthday!Ongoing training and developmentCycle to workSeason Ticket LoanAn opportunity to work in a fast-changing changing industry for a leading disruptor in the field who is changing the face of the energy industryWork in leafy Chiswick, with free breakfast, monthly drinks and a stunning new office spaceSo Energy cares about helping the energy industry become a much more diverse and inclusive environment and we work hard to lead by example.
