Job description

I am currently working with one of the top M&A consultancies based in the City of London. After internal promotion they are looking for a new Technology Consultant - Financial Services M&A to join their team.

Job Description
In this role you will be involved in the following:

• Being apart of a wider team involved with client Merger and Acquisitions from a technology stand point
• Seeing how the business works from a technology perspective
• Checking the prospective business's systems for possible improvements for your client to benefit from after the acquisition
• Providing analysis on the full technological portfolio of a prospective business
• Preparing a report of all findings from your analysis
• Be involved in creating a plan, technology focused, on the first 100 days after the acquisition has been completed to enable smooth handover to the Post Merger team

The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate you will:

• Have experience or exposure to Merger and Acquisitions, Organisational Restructure, Technology due diligence, Process improvement, Post-Merger Integration or similar
• Have worked within Insurance, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Deal Advisory, Payments, Private Equity or similar industries previously
• Have a keen interest in Tech Consultancy and what it entails
• Have previously been involved in large scale projects
• Keen interest in Technology
• Strong academics, degree etc
