Job Description

  • Conduct all business transactions in accordance with policies, procedures & guidelines, legal requirements, regulations and ethical standards
  • Be Subject Matter Expert for enterprise-wide policies, processes, and tools; communicate requirements for establishing and managing external and affiliate third-party providers
  • Drive consistent execution of the procurement policy and framework, and key deliverables
  • Drive adoption of the procurement processes, provide guidance to stakeholders on third-party governance, oversight, and risk mitigation
  • Communicate proactively with Head of Vendor Management and escalate risks and issues as appropriate
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and SMEs as appropriate to (a) address third-party issues and (b) manage vendor regulatory and risk and control matters
  • Provide guidance and assistance to internal stakeholders with preparing for and conducting oversight meetings with Third Party Vendors
  • Review and approve Third Party risk assessments
  • Coordinate business reviews for vendors on a regular basis to manage vendor performance
  • Oversee timely resolution of third-party issues by Vendor Managers and; provide necessary guidance and support. Ensure risk acceptances and documented and approved in compliance with the policy
  • Provide third-party risk reporting, including any necessary escalations, to the business risk committee and other business stakeholders
  • Drive timely completion of remediation actions and risk & control efforts (e.g., Inventory Controls, contract reviews, Due Diligence reassessments, exit strategies)
  • Manage and escalate significant issues, incidents or concerns
  • Manage supplier relationships and undertake contract and commercial negotiations when required
  • Identify process requirements issues and provide both internal and external issue resolution
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for internal and external stakeholder's vendor queries
  • Ensure Insight receives best value for money and associated cost saving and that no unnecessary costs are incurred
  • Represent Vendor Management in stakeholder and business partner meetings, as needed
  • Manage interaction with various cultures.
The Successful Applicant
  • Degree/CIPS or equivalent qualification of education and work experience required
  • Understanding of procurement, supplier relationship and Third-Party risk management processes and practices in financial sector preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in managing large, complex vendor management projects across a range of categories (IT/Technology preferred)
  • Degree/CIPS or equivalent qualification and work experience
  • Strong supplier relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders at a range of levels
  • Strong understanding of regulation, risk and governance
  • A wealth of category knowledge across multiple complex categories
