Job Description

  • Understand and analyse the needs of the Business related to the Trade Processing domain, with the aim of enhancing the Operating model with appropriate and sustainable solutions in line with the entity's strategic plan
  • Ensure that the solution is compatible with the requirements derived from the Business's needs and taking in to account the technical requirements for ensuring stability
  • Act as the contact person within the project or maintenance teams and for the Business for Data and functional aspects
  • Test and provide support during implementation of Change
  • Work with the Project, Business & Support and Engineering teams to interpret the business need, aid functional analysis and present a solution for new client onboarding and client change using application knowledge to prepare functional requirements specifications
  • Identify continuous improvements to optimise the processing in TradeFlow as required
  • Work closely with the business units to on-board new clients into TradeFlow. This will involve analysing the current take on method (if any) and automate the client trades through TradeFlow and onto accounting systems as required
  • Provide regular status updates to the GTP Manager and Tradeflow Release Manager on progress and highlight any risks or issues accordingly.
  • To ensure service continuity using the application Tradeflow and to help improve the quality of the IT department
  • Help design the product's solution, as necessary, Help design, model and implement an application solution by basing their work on the requirements and including data and security challenges
  • Exemplary representation of both the business and the technology capability for internal stakeholders (local and offshore) and external stakeholders (clients, prospects, vendors/suppliers, industry groups)
  • Show competent business judgement to lead by example in providing confident leadership over the complexity of managing a technology capability of our scale and local/global integration.
The Successful Applicant
  • Significant experience as a Tradeflow Business analyst in the middle office environment and in particular trade processing (full understanding of Trade life cycle)
  • Good market products knowledge (Securities, Equities, FX, Term Deposit)
  • Strong Swift knowledge is key
  • Proven track record of executing and implementing business change of listed products initiatives through the complete project life cycle
  • Production of excellent quality analysis and testing documentation
  • Proven track record of project delivery
  • Good communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good time management skills with the ability to cope with deadlines and multiple tasks
  • Ability to work unassisted in a remote working scenario for 2 out of 5 days min
  • Client focused, understanding the client
  • Experience of a full system implementation and the development lifecycle
  • Good at building strong working relationships, across all levels of the company and with clients.
