World Fuel Services Corporation is a publicly listed company (NYSE: INT), headquartered in Miami, Florida .Further duties and responsibilities include:Development of new customer accounts and/or further penetrating business with existing customers.Requirement management for existing customersProactively prospect for new business opportunities from new customers - research and analyse client opportunities and develop/implement action plans for attaining the new businessAnalyse and disseminate appropriate market information to identify new business opportunitiesFrequently visit existing and new customersMaintain a database of active customer targets and prospectsBe a reliable point of contact for customer requests and transactionsMonitor customer use of credit line and credit exposureAssist in operational/logistic support where needed (supplier service, fuel delivery coordination, claims resolution and ensure optimal customer satisfaction)The IndividualA passion for sales, operations and logistics is essential.A strong interest in the shipping industry is essential.A strong interest in commodity markets is essential.Strong numerical ability and analytical skills are essentialStrong written and oral English communication skills are essential.Ability to speak an additional European language is advantageous.A willingness and desire to solicit for new business opportunities from new and existing customers is essentialAttention to detail and time management skills are essential.Strong organisational & problem-solving skills are essential.
