Our Digital Innovation & Transformation team is working with clients to lead them through the digital revolution. Realizing their digital innovation strategies and programs is a key focus area. We are working with clients to help them set up their innovation labs and centres of excellence, gain value from innovation partnerships, develop proofs of concept and minimum viable products around new and emerging technologies, and implement digital solutions. Throughout this process, we serve as strategic advisors on how to apply innovation to domain-specific use cases for the financial services industry, with the business challenge always at the heart of the program. We partner with our digital and technology teams to deliver solutions from future state vision and concept to large scale implementation.
You will be working on solving AI challenges for and with our clients. Your knowledge and skills will help shaping the future of banking.
Your profile
We are looking for a UI Framework engineer (React/Redux) who:
- Has a solid understanding of Web and Web technologies
- Can Design and Build reusable, performant, and ambitious UI Components
- Always has a keen eye for detail
- Is willing to learn and develop new technical skills
- Enjoys collaborating with team members and sharing knowledge and code
- Has a software engineering background
Your team
Global strategic platform for X-Asset risk & analytics in the derivatives space. It is a new, green field platform adopting modern technologies and methodologies like public cloud, IAAS and DevOps. The platform requires the development of a large set of UI based applications. As a member for the UI Framework team, you will be part of the team that delivers the UI framework and tooling required to meet this challenge.
Your experience
Required Skills
- JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript
- React/Redux
- HTML5
- CSS3 (SASS or LESS)
- NodeJS
- Webpack
- Git
- Automated testing
- Experience with another programming language
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of risk
- Knowledge of derivatives (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, Equities)
- One or more of the following ag-grid, plotly, highcharts or d3
- OpenFin
- Python programming language
- Object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#
- Experience building and consuming REST and Streaming API's
- Experience working within an Agile/Lean development processes
- Experience collaborating with User Experience designers
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform
- Experience with CI CD build pipelines
You must be:
- Highly motivated
- Focussed on quality with a track record of delivering successful applications in production
- A great communicator and team player
- Aware of on-going technology trends and how to leverage the benefits
- Quick learner
- Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
