My client is a well-established Education and Training Consultancy that is a part of a much larger global group. They are looking for a proactive candidate to successfully lead the UK market and strengthen their company's presence.

As the country manager you will play a vital role in the operations of the UK business, as well as also playing a part in the success of the global enterprise.

Responsibilities
Manage all the operations in the UK market, country budget, P&L and local team (3-5 people)
Building and managing relationships and contracts with a network of UK suppliers (accommodation providers, public and private schools and FE colleges, hotels, NGOs, etc)
Coordination with cross functional teams of the group in the other European Countries and with the Headquarters in Italy
Coordination and main interface with UK Educational Groups, FE Colleges, public and private entities
Building new partnerships with national and international players in the education industry.
Creating and analysing reports of all Country specific actual vs. forecasted metrics and take action to optimise performance

Skills/Qualities
Entrepreneurial mindset, highly proactive and with the character to work independently
Strong presentation/communication skills and enthusiastic team leader
Strong commercial focus and business acumen
Motivated and accountable, with can-do attitude
Project management skills or background is a plus
