Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Vendor/Supplier Manager. Ideally you will have banking and vendor/supplier management experience.

The roles responsible for building procurement and vendor management function. This function is to deliver innovative strategy to implement robust processes to meet the requirements of the clients growing bank.

You will be responsible for owning, developing and managing the banks strategic relationships across supply chain and their growing partner ecosystem.

You will plan and prioritise Supplier Service Reviews and Contracts & Governance as well as ensuring accurate and up to date contracts and supplier records are maintained.

Key responsibilities also include:

• Control of all procurement activity across the bank
• Deliver systems, process and discipline to drive cost/quality/value focused buying
• Vendor management to build proportionate and internal and external solutions
• Enforcing commercial compliance and embedding strong corporate governance
• Effective forecasting and lead on relevant management reporting and supplier matrices
• Solution design and managing contractual processes and formal contract changes/renewals
• Facilitating Compliance Processes with appropriate SME's and Business Owners eg External Security Reviews, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Business Continuity Management, Supplier Code of Conduct etc
• Ongoing supplier benchmarking and financial/risk assessment reviews

Experience/Skills Required:
Background in vendor or supplier management and that needs to have been within Financial Services or Banking, ideally with FinTech experience. That experience should have included exposure to regulatory aspects of supplier management and experience in managing stakeholders.
