Job description

We are expanding our Information, Advice and Guidance services for young people in London with our 'Spark Change' programme, funded by Greater London Authority and European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF).

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will recruit, coordinate, develop and deliver high quality volunteer support to add value to the support offered to our participants, and in line with our values.

You will be delivering against an agreed local volunteer recruitment strategy, offering innovative, timely and cost-effective solutions to enable the programme to be best-in-class. You will be responsible for the programme's caseload of volunteers, ensuring effective recruitment, induction, delivery, communication, and support processes are implemented and maintained in your programme.

Essential:

You will have:

Good IT skills, to present data via Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF.
Experience of community-based initiatives.
Knowledge of volunteering and community initiatives.
Experience in dealing with and influencing a wide range of people.
Experience of working with service users and stakeholders to evaluate services.

Location:

Hybrid working with a mix of office, home and community working. Our service will cover the London Boroughs of Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Harrow, and Havering.
