Windows Server Engineer L3 - Powershell Scripting Devops Networks - Investment Bank

For this role more emphasis should be on Windows Servers (application configurations but not hardware) and Strong technical candidate who is familiar with provisioning and running of global trading platforms (less on Infrastructure more on components of Windows server and application dependencies)

Production experience across the following:

Microsoft Windows System Engineer qualified and must have excellent knowledge, Level 3.

System administration primarily trained in Windows, IIS and Network Protocol and good Scripting knowledge of Powershell, Active Directory and secure protocols TCP/IP, Kerberos, SSL, HTTPS and Encryptions methods.

Application Servers/Middleware High skills knowledge in configuring and supporting of the following: IIS, Load Balancers GTM, Powershell Scripting is highly desirable.

Networks High level of understanding of network principals and communication protocols and Encryption and authentication methodology knowledge.

Troubleshooting Practical experience of Sys Internals toolsets and packet captures Wireshark

Server Monitoring and deployment toolsets Bladelogic, Altiris and Geneos

DevOps Core knowledge of Ansible, BitBuckets, Artifactory ElasticSearch and Splunk

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years experience in similar role, majority of which should have been gained within a Capital Markets context. He/she must be experienced in providing multi-disciplined technical support on application platforms and Middleware components, performance and capacity management and good knowledge of SQL and database management, Release & Configuration management and with good analytic troubleshooting skills set.
