Job description

The school are seeking an experienced and committed Year 2 Teacher who has the willingness to take on a subject lead. The school's last Ofsted grading was Outstanding in every category. The position is due to start in January 2022 covering a maternity absence for two terms. This is a full time class teaching position.

The school is a two-form entry setting designed in as a semi-open plan building excellent resources providing generous space for indoor and outdoor learning.

Pupils' behaviour and their personal development are very good in this school. Pupils exemplary attitudes to learning ensure that rates of attendance are well above average. The Senior Leadership Team are very established and work effectively to ensure both staff and pupils reach their full potential. The school believe in creating an atmosphere where every staff member and pupil feels equally valued and secure.

This position requires an experienced teacher to lead the learning in a Year 2 class. The successful applicant will be required to deliver inspiring and varied lessons and activities in accordance with the National Curriculum. Learning must be accessible for all pupils in the class and differentiated accordingly. KS1 SATs experience is a requirement to be considered for this position, along with a minimum of two years teaching experience. A full time teaching assistant will be in your class to assist with high quality teaching and learning.

Salary will be in line with the main pay scale, M2-M6 plus TLR if you take on a subject lead
